Welcome back to another interview with the Captains! Growing up sailing, I always love the ability to feature a sailing yacht so we were excited to sit down with J-P Le Tissier of Relativity for this week’s feature.

What is your current role and how long have you been in the superyacht industry?
I have been the boat captain of Relativity since I managed the hand over from the factory in 2015. However, I’ve been a commercial boat skipper on sail and motor yachts since 2000.
What is your favourite destination and why?
Port Andratx, Mallorca – wonderful natural harbour which accommodates recreational yachting with commercial fishing effortlessly.
Stunning views from everywhere in the port, superb facilities and a host of first-class restaurants and bars in a traditional Spanish town.
What are your favourite toys to play with onboard?
S.U.P’s – Stand Up Paddleboards, a lot of fun which can also provide a good all over body work out!
If you could only choose one thing that makes a superyacht charter so special, what would it be and why?
Being able to share the beauty of sailing with everyone while providing first class service to give the guests a truly memorable experience.
