Meet Captain Jean-Marc Bitouzet on M/Y St. David
What is your current role and how long in superyacht industry?
I have been in the industry for 20 years as a captain – 15 of those have been as a charter captain as well.
What is your favourite destination and why?
I love the Adriatic and Greece – mainly because of the magnificent places that are available and the very interesting anchorages we have access to.
What are your favourite toys to play with onboard?
Any water sport toys! Waterskies, snorkelling, seabobs – they’re all fun!
If you could only choose one thing that makes a superyacht charter so special, what would it be and why?
Choices. Because of the choices a charter yacht offers: destinations, things to do (on the water and on land), from quiet or bustling anchorages, to marinas, land excursions, local history, and of course shopping.
Activities that can be offered according to every guest’s wishes. Everything is customizable so the choices are endless!
