If you’re wondering what is open to tourists for the Mediterranean charter season, we’ve included three incredible spots that have confirmed dates their borders will be re-open to tourists, as well as a few honourable mentions we are confident will release their dates soon as well as all of the protocols you need to be aware of. Any questions? Please don’t hesitate in dropping us a line here!

Croatia

Come and discover the pristine beaches and many islands dotted across the Adriatic Sea when you charter a yacht through Croatia. Revel in medieval walled towns, or take a deep dive in crystal clear blue waters while watching the other yachts bob in the water. Croatia is currently open to all international travellers. Charterers need a negative PCR test 48 hours prior to entering and a 14-day quarantine is not required. Yachts can move freely between marinas, along the coast and islands of the Croatian Adriatic. Marinas, shops, restaurants, bars, and markets are open, however, masks are mandatory on public transport, including ferries. Please check out the Croatia Ministry of Tourism website here for more info.

Book a charter from Athens around the Cyclades and find vibrant villages set in cliffs above the deep blue Aegean Sea; or walk along cobbled alleys in ancient towns, sipping wine in a taverna before dancing the night away in some of Europe’s best clubs. Whatever you’re looking for on your next vacation, Greece has it all. The country plans to reopen their borders as of May 14, 2021 just in time for the Med season. Visitors may enter with either a negative PCR test within 72 hours, proof of vaccination, or proof of recovery and antibodies.
