Share

Never thought of taking a yacht around New England before? Well we think you should give it some serious thought! Cruise along white sand beaches in Maine, take in a baseball game in Boston or go shopping and hit the sights in New York City – better yet? Do it in the fall when the colours really come to life! Below is a sample itinerary that takes in some of these sights.

DAY 1

You’ll join your private luxury yacht in Newport, Rhode Island. This city by the sea is steeped in history and has a centuries old tradition of yachting so don’t miss exploring these fantastic sights before joining the yacht. Your captain and crew will be waiting to greet you before giving you a tour of your new home away from home with a cold drink in hand.

DAY 2

After spending the night in Newport, you’ll enjoy breakfast alfresco on the aftdeck while cruising toward Block Island. Spend time enjoying the classic Victorian architecture, before stretching your legs on land.

DAY 3

Today you head to Nantucket, filled with homes of the rich and famous, beautiful beaches and high sand dunes. Head in on the dinghy today and spend time exploring the island and grabbing a drink at the local Wauwinet Inn.

DAY 4

Today you’ll spend a second day in Nantucket to make the most of your time here! No trip to New England is complete without doing some whale watching! Depending on the time of year you come, end of summer is best for whale watching – and since you’ve got access to your very own yacht, why not search for whales from the privacy of your own luxurious oasis while sipping champagne on the bow?

DAY 5

Welcome to Martha’s Vineyard – another classic destination on the east coast you must visit. A charming town, sandy beaches and picturesque shores await you, while the fishing is fantastic in these regions so make time to get out and try your hand at catching dinner!

DAY 6

You’ll cruise into Boston today and spend some time exploring this historical and vibrant city. With so many restaurants to choose from, enjoy dining in town tonight or escape back onboard for another delicious dinner prepared by your private chef.

DAY 8

Enjoy one final breakfast in the sunshine by your chef before you cruise back into Newport for your return home.
